The nurse will conduct the PCR test by inserting the swab into the nostril.

When the swab reaches a depth equal to the distance from the nostrils to the outer opening of the ear, the nurse twirls few seconds to collect the sample.

You might feel uncomfortable or a slight pain at the moment, but please be careful not to move until it finishes.

Saliva-Based Test is conducted a PCR test by collecting your saliva.

Please confirm that you did not eat, gargled, used toothpaste or gum in the last 15 minutes.

1. Keep saliva in your mouth for about 2 minutes.

2. Gently spit out, as if dropped into a sterile container.

3. The collection amount is about 2 ml. If it cannot be collected on the first try, the process will be repeated.

Are the PCR Test and Antibody Test covered by insurance?
Examinations to receive a negative certificate for travel, business travel, daily activities, etc. are not covered by insurance.
How do I receive the test results?
Please come back to the clinic in order to receive your certificate. You do not need to make a reservation.
Is the PCR test negative certificate written in English?
Depending on your needs, the negative certificate can be written in Japanese or English.
How long does the PCR test take?
The entire process will take about 10 minutes (temperature measurement, inquiry sheet, sample collection). Please do not eat or drink (including gargling) from 15 minutes before the inspection. You can receive the test results from 17:00 on the next day.
If I took the test on Friday, can I get the result and the certification on Saturday?
Yes, you can. However, please ask us in advance in that case. We need to ask the clinic to open only for giving you the certification.

A 14 days quarantine, either at a centralised government hotel (with costs covered by the traveller) or your home, is mandatory.

International Restrictions: You will need a valid visa to enter China. Chinese Visa Application Centres have re-opened. From 28 September 2020, holders of valid residence permits attached to work, personal matters and reunion can re-enter China. Holders of expired residence permits can apply for a new one.

Korea

For passengers that are permitted to enter South Korea:
A negative certificate, issued 48 hours before arrival, is required for entering the country.

A 14 days quarantine, that includes a PCR test for Coronavirus (COVID-19) within 3 days after arrival, is mandatory.

This does not apply to passengers with an Isolation Exemption Certificate issued by a Korean Embassy or Consulate before departure. They must be tested on Coronavirus (COVID-19) upon arrival and stay at designated quarantine facilities for 1 or 2 days until a negative test result is obtained.

In addition, passengers who are permitted to enter must meet the following conditions:
- Passengers are required to be quarantined for 14 days on arrival, - All passengers must complete a “Travel Record Declaration” form, - Passengers, including nationals and residents of Korea (South), who have accommodation available to self-quarantine must install the “Self-quarantine Safety Protection App”,
- Passengers who do not have a place to stay will be provided accommodation for the duration of the passenger’s quarantine. They must hold a completed “Agreement to Facility Quarantine” form consenting to this, have access to at least 1,400,000 KRW per person for expenses, and install the “Self-diagnosis Mobile App”.

For passengers that are permitted to enter Vietnam:
A negative certificate, issued from 3 to 7 days before entry, is required but subject to special conditions. The test type and method us RT-PCR (nasopharyngeal swab)

A 14 days quarantine is mandatory.
Passengers are not permitted to enter Vietnam. This does not apply to:

- Nationals of Vietnam,
- Passengers traveling for official or business purposes; investors, technical experts, skilled workers, business managers, government officials, and passengers with approval from the National Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of COVID-19, provided they have a medical certificate issued by authorities proving that they are free of novel coronavirus.

➀ Certificate must be in English or Vietnamese.
➁ The certificate must include the traveler's name, age (date of birth), gender, nationality, passport number, address in Japan, address in Vietnam, medical institution name, sample inoculation date, test date, test method (PCR ), examination result and the expected date of entry.

④ From 18 September to board a flight, passengers must hold a certificate showing they have tested negative for the coronavirus no more than five days before the departure date. Upon arrival, they will be tested and placed under quarantine.

A negative certificate, issued within 7 days of entry, is required. The test type is PCR (Nasopharyngeal swab)

A quarantine, at a government-designated site or self-isolation at home, is mandatory.
In principle, foreigners are prohibited from entering or transiting in Indonesia. As an exception, foreigners who hold ​a Temporary​ or Permanent Stay Permits (ITAS or ITAP) issued by Indonesia, passengers holding diplomatic or service visas or permits issued by Indonesia, support personnel for medical, food, or humanitarian aid, crews of sea, air, or land transportation and passengers who are working in national strategic projects are permitted to enter Japan under the following conditions.

① Possession of an English health certificate issued by the health authorities of each country.
② Stay for 14 days or more in a COVID-19 free area
③ Declaration of readiness to receive 14-day quarantine conducted by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia

*Persons who have a negative PCR certificate will undergo a rapid antibody test at the airport when entering the country, and even if there are no symptoms specific to the new coronavirus infection, 14 days of voluntary isolation is required. For those without a health certificate, a PCR test will be conducted at the time of entry into the country, followed by a maximum of 4 days waiting at a designated hotel until the result is known. If negative, 14 days of voluntary isolation is required. If a positive result is found, transfer to a hospital will be mandatory.

Alaska:
From June 6, all travelers from outside the state (including Alaska residents) will be required to have 14 days of voluntary isolation. However, this does not apply when
(1) presenting the negative result of the PCR test received within 72 hours before departure,
(2) presenting the negative result of the PCR test received within 5 days before departure and a new one 7 to 14 days after arriving in Alaska,
(3) If you received two PCR tests within 7 to 14 days after arrival in Alaska and both were negative.
Violators may be fined up to $25,000 and/or imprisoned for up to one year.

Northern Mariana Islands:
From June 20, in principle, all travelers from outside the island will be exempted from the 14-day quarantine procedure, provided that all the following are met:
・Advance online registration
・Registration and reporting to the monitoring system
・Agreement to sample collection performed 5 days after arrival Furthermore, for non-residents, in addition to the above, PCR test within 3 to 6 days before entering the island must be presented with a certificate.

Guam:
As a general rule, a 14-day quarantine at a facility designated by the Guam government is required. However, if you submit the specified PCR test negative certificate performed within 5 days before entering the country, you will be able to self-isolate at home or at the hotel you booked yourself. In either case, if the PCR test on the 7th day after the entry is negative, the quarantine will be canceled. Also, depending on the stock situation, it may not be available.

Hawaii:
Since March 26, all out-of-state travelers (including Hawaii residents) are required to self-quarantine for 14 days. Violators may be fined $5,000 and/or imprisoned for up to one year. A Pre-Travel Testing Program is planned, but won't be launched before 1st October at the earliest.

You can travel to Germany if you are traveling from the European Union, from a country in the Schengen area, or from another country that has an agreement with Germany for accepting travelers, including Japan.

France

A negative certificate is required if coming from outside EU and from a country that is not on the white list exemption. Japan is actually on that list.

Self-isolation mandatory at own accommodation-if coming from outside EU (country white list exempt). Japan is exempted.
A second national lockdown is also in place until, at least, the end of November. People would only be allowed to leave home for essential work or medical reasons.

To enter mainland France from a country outside the European space, including Japan, you must fill out and carry with you two documents:
• the exempted movement certificate for Metropolitan France which can be downloaded on the Ministry of the Interior’s website. You must present this certificate to travel companies before using your travel ticket, as well as to border control authorities (for travel by air, sea and land, including by rail).
• A declaration that you do not have COVID-19 symptoms (included in the same document).

For passengers that are permitted to enter Egypt:
A negative certificate, issued 72 hours before flight departure, is required for entering the country.

The certificate needs to:
- Include the hour and the date of sampling.
- Be issued by an authorized accredited laboratory and stamped with the laboratory’s stamp and does not contain scraping, cancellation or addition.
- Indicate the type of sample taken for the swab.
- Indicate that the type of test is (RT–PCR).

A 14 days quarantine at your own accommodation is mandatory.

Ghana

For passengers that are permitted to enter Ghana:
A negative certificate, issued 72 hours before departure, is required for entering the country. The test method needs to be PCR.

A 14 days quarantine, either at a centralized government hotel (with costs covered by the traveler) or your home, is mandatory.
On arrival, all passengers will be subject to a mandatory COVID-19 test at Kotoka International airport, at their own expense.
Quarantine possible at government-designated facility depending on the test results and other criterias.

Greece

For passengers that are permitted to enter Greece:
A negative certificate is not required for passengers arriving from Japan.
(However, please note that airlines may require negative certification.)

All visitors arriving by air, land, or sea transport will be subject to random tests upon arrival. In the event of a positive result, they will be contacted and placed in a 14-day quarantine, with the expenses covered by the Greek state

Hong Kong

For passengers that are permitted to enter Hong Kong:
A negative certificate, issued 72 hours before departure, is required for entering the country.

Travelers will also be required to provide a letter issued by the relevant authority of the government of the place in which the laboratory or healthcare institution is located, certifying that the laboratory or healthcare institution is recognized or approved by the government.

Passengers are subject to medical screening upon arrival and quarantine for 14 days.

Jordan

For passengers that are permitted to enter Jordan:
All passengers, including Jordanians, arriving in Jordan by special repatriation flights or via land borders will be PCR tested upon arrival.

Passengers arriving from Japan are required to self-isolate for one week even if their PCR test result is negative.

South Africa

For passengers who are permitted to enter South Africa:
A negative certificate, produced 72 hours before departure, is required for entering the country.

If you fail to produce a paper copy of a negative COVID-19 test you will be required to quarantine at a government-appointed facility at your own cost. Self-isolation is not required if you have provided the negative COVID-19 test.
